Alias Mundi—or, "the world otherwise."
I’ve always felt a deep necessity to look at things from a different perspective, even one far removed from my own.
I truly believe that the world we inhabit is vastly different from how it appears on the surface. There are hidden mechanics at play, laws of nature that make the experience of life far more profound and misleading than the standard "norms" humanity usually follows—and sometimes, quite foolishly, pursues.
We often settle for a simplified version of reality, missing the fact that the world is much larger and more mysterious than what we perceive in our daily grind.
I’ve always loved applying this philosophy to my music.
My goal isn’t to follow a predictable path, but to experiment with alternative strategies and less identifiable routes to reach unexpected results.
It’s about looking for the "hidden gears" within the sound.
The outcome of this research is "Alias Mundi." It features tracks like “Despiratoir,” “Crumble,” and “Burned”—songs that I still listen to with great pleasure.
Even now, every time I hit play, I manage to discover new musical details and textures that I hadn't noticed before. It’s as if the music itself has those hidden layers I was looking for in the world.
I hope you’ll find them too.

Alias Mundi, ovvero "il mondo altrimenti".
Ho sempre sentito il bisogno viscerale di osservare le cose da un altro punto di vista, spesso molto lontano dal mio o da quello comunemente accettato.
Credo fermamente che il mondo in cui viviamo sia profondamente diverso da come ci appare a prima vista. Esistono delle meccaniche nascoste, proprie della natura e dell'universo, che rendono l'esperienza della vita qualcosa di molto più vasto e complesso di quanto la nostra quotidianità ci permetta di afferrare.
Spesso l’umanità si ostina a seguire — e a volte a inseguire stupidamente — dei canoni prestabiliti, ignorando che la realtà ha strati invisibili e verità che sfuggono a un occhio pigro.
Ho voluto portare questo concetto dritto nella mia musica. Non volevo creare qualcosa di ovvio; volevo applicare strategie alternative, percorrere sentieri meno battuti e meno identificabili per ottenere risultati che uscissero dai soliti schemi. Per me, comporre significa cercare quella frequenza che sta "dietro" al rumore di fondo.
Il risultato di questo percorso di ricerca è proprio "Alias Mundi". È un album che racchiude brani come “Despiratoir”, “Crumble” o “Burned” – tracce che io stesso riascolto ancora oggi con enorme piacere.
La cosa incredibile è che, ogni volta, riesco a scoprirci dentro nuovi dettagli musicali, nuove sfumature che sembravano nascoste e che emergono solo quando decidi di ascoltare "oltre". Spero che faccia lo stesso effetto anche a voi.
