Life on Saturn’s Third Ring (2025)

"There are periods in my life when I truly wish I could be in another part of the universe. Those who know me well are aware that my go-to expression when I reach my limit is: 'How I wish I could live on the third ring of Saturn!'
This album is born from that feeling—a musical journey in search of serenity, or at least a bit of peace and relaxation.
However, don't expect the tracks to always convey a sense of pure tranquility; in fact, some pieces might even come across as a bit 'sad,' as you realize that such peace often feels almost impossible to achieve.
Through the music of 'Life on Saturn’s Third Ring', I hope I’ve managed to portray my state of mind regarding this impossibility and the deep-seated desire for a different existence.
This longing for an alternative life clearly emerges in tracks like 'Another Time, Another Place'. Additionally, the wish to reclaim my independence—to be the one making the rules without being subjected to external factors or other people—is powerfully expressed in 'I'm The Maker Of Rules'.
Technically speaking, this new work continues my exploration of fusing electronic and acoustic sounds. I believe I have now found a solid balance between these two worlds, to the point where labeling my music as strictly 'electronic' feels a bit limiting for my current creative output.
That said, I like to think that in the future I’ll return to explore my electronic side even more deeply, as my passion for synthesizers is something that has been rooted in me since my youth.
In the meantime, I hope that listening to this work proves to be an interesting and evocative experience, as I’ve been told by those who had the chance to hear it in advance."
"Ci sono dei momenti nella vita in cui vorrei davvero trovarmi in un’altra parte dell'universo. Chi mi conosce bene lo sa: la frase che esclamo più spesso quando arrivo al limite è: 'Come vorrei vivere sul terzo anello di Saturno!'.
Questo album nasce proprio così, come un viaggio musicale alla ricerca della serenità, o almeno di un po' di pace e relax.
Tuttavia, non aspettatevi che tutti i brani trasmettano una calma assoluta; al contrario, alcuni pezzi possono risultare quasi 'tristi', perché descrivono quel momento in cui ti rendi conto che la pace perfetta sembra un traguardo impossibile da raggiungere.
Con la musica di 'Life on Saturn’s Third Ring' ho cercato di ritrarre esattamente questo stato d’animo: l'impossibilità di trovare quella quiete e il desiderio profondo di un'esistenza diversa.
Questa voglia di un'alternativa emerge chiaramente in brani come 'Another Time, Another Place', mentre in 'I'm The Maker Of Rules' grido il bisogno di tornare a essere io l'unico a decidere della mia vita, senza subire condizionamenti esterni o imposizioni altrui.
Dal punto di vista tecnico, anche in questo lavoro continuo a esplorare la fusione tra suoni elettronici e acustici. Credo di aver finalmente trovato un ottimo equilibrio tra questi due mondi; anzi, direi che etichettare la mia musica semplicemente come 'elettronica' sia ormai riduttivo per quello che produco oggi.
Eppure, non escludo in futuro di tornare a scavare ancora più a fondo nel mio lato sintetico, dato che la passione per i synth affonda le radici nella mia giovinezza.
Nel frattempo, spero che l'ascolto di questo lavoro risulti interessante ed evocativo, proprio come mi ha riferito chi ha avuto il piacere di ascoltarlo in anteprima."
