I feel this new album, "A Silence to Share," is the natural continuation of the journey I began with my previous work, "Life on Saturn’s Third Ring." 

    If in that record I was searching for a sort of "alien" and distant serenity, here that search lands in our daily lives, becoming an urgent necessity—almost a form of human resistance.

    These two albums are born from the same urgency: the need to unplug from the chaos. But this time, I didn’t just want to escape. I wanted to build a bridge. 

    The heart of this work is the very idea of sharing silence. It sounds like a paradox, but I believe there is nothing more intimate and powerful than being silent together with someone, protected from the deafening roar of our metropolises and, above all, from that even more annoying noise made of empty chatter and phrases that mean nothing.

    The album lives within this contrast. The track "Ad Silentium" is a celebration for me, a true "hosanna" to the power of silence. 

I wrote it thinking of silence as a "safe home," a sanctuary for the soul where one finally feels protected and whole. I wanted to emphasize this celebratory dimension right from the start, crafting the introduction as ritual music: a necessary rite of passage to leave the world's din behind and cross the threshold into this sacred space.

    However, I am well aware that this invitation is not for everyone. The closing track, "Ad Clamorem," stems from this bittersweet realization: most people today almost seem afraid of silence. They are so used to being constantly stimulated by noise and hollow talk that they find it difficult to accept the invitation to stop. 

It is a reality I had to face while creating this record.

    I offer you—if you have a little time and a desire to delve deeper into the emotions and concepts I wish to express through my music—this listening guide to A Silence to Share: imagine it as a meeting place.

Sento questo mio nuovo album, "A Silence to Share", come il naturale proseguimento del viaggio iniziato con il mio precedente lavoro, "Life on Saturn’s Third Ring". 

    Se in quel disco cercavo una sorta di serenità "aliena" e lontana, qui quella ricerca atterra nel nostro quotidiano, diventando una necessità urgente, quasi una forma di resistenza umana.

Questi due album sono figli della stessa urgenza: il bisogno di staccare la spina dal caos. Ma questa volta, non volevo solo scappare. Volevo creare un ponte. 

    Il cuore di questo lavoro è proprio l'idea della condivisione del silenzio. Sembra un paradosso, ma credo che non ci sia nulla di più intimo e potente che stare in silenzio insieme a qualcuno, protetti dal frastuono assordante delle nostre metropoli e, soprattutto, da quel rumore ancora più fastidioso fatto di parole dette a vanvera e frasi che non significano nulla.

    Il disco vive di questo contrasto. Il brano "Ad Silentium" è per me una celebrazione, un vero e proprio "osanna" alla forza del silenzio. 

L’ho scritto pensando al silenzio come a una "casa sicura", un luogo dell’anima dove finalmente ci si sente protetti e integri. Ho voluto sottolineare questa dimensione celebrativa fin dall’inizio, curando l'introduzione come se fosse una musica rituale: un rito di passaggio necessario per lasciarsi alle spalle il frastuono del mondo e varcare la soglia di questo spazio sacro.

    Tuttavia, so bene che questo invito non è per tutti. Il brano di chiusura, "Ad Clamorem", nasce proprio da questa amara presa di coscienza: la maggior parte delle persone oggi sembra quasi aver paura del silenzio. Sono così abituate a essere sollecitate da rumori e discorsi vuoti che faticano ad accettare l'invito a fermarsi. 

È una verità con cui ho dovuto fare i conti durante la creazione di questo disco.
